Greenville SC Wedding Photographer

Let’s rewind back to the end of March for a moment.
It was absolutely freezing on the day of Cynthia and Ray’s engagement session. The temperatures were really chilly, the heavy jackets were out, and we were even greeting with a sprinkle of snow.
Together we trekked up to Black Balsam Knob to capture as many engagement photos as we could before meeting up in downtown Greenville to finish up the session.
Fast forward to present day, and Cynthia and Ray are now officially Mr. and Mrs.! They tied the knot a few weeks ago at some of the most beautiful places in the Upstate, making it truly the most perfect fall wedding.
Cynthia got ready with her bridesmaids and mom at the Homewood Suites in Downtown Greenville. Once hair and makeup was done by the talented Jenny Le and ladies at Cotton Rouge, the women grabbed their dresses and we all drove up to the Fred W. Symmes Chapel, also known as “Pretty Place.”
The leaves were beginning to change color, the sun was on its way down, and the views were absolutely stunning. Family and friends slowly started arriving for the ceremony as Cynthia and Ray finished getting ready and prepared for their first look.
For those of you familiar with the Pretty Place Chapel, you’re familiar with the stunning view that overlooks the ceremony site.
So picture this, Ray makes his way down to the lookout point, and contently looks out across the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains. Cynthia, looking like an absolute princess, makes her way slowly down the aisle of stairs to Ray. Like every first look, it is such a beautiful moment for the bride and groom to have that moment to themselves. It was lovely to see Ray and Cynthia join together, and talk about their upcoming ceremony with such a beautiful background.
Once the ceremony was over, we made our way down the mountains with a quick stop at Bald Rock for some bridal party photos. The golden hour sunset created some insane lighting! The sky was filled with all the warm colors you could imagine, making for some unforgettable photos.
Once we made it back to downtown Greenville, the party officially started at the Old Cigar Warehouse where the reception took place. The exposed brick, warm lighting, and ambient music greeted us upon arrival.
My favorite part? Instead of a guest photo book, Cynthia and Ray had their guests sign and leave well wishes on Jenga blocks – so unique!
The dinner was delicious, the party was poppin, and the bride and groom were the star of the show.
Cynthia and Ray, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day. Congratulations on your big day, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Special thanks to everyone that made this day wonderful!
