Bri & Andrew’s Wedding at the Anderson Arts Center

Greenville SC Wedding Photography

We have photographed some beautiful weddings over the past few years, but let me tell you guys something. Choosing an art museum for your venue? Out. of. this. WORLD. beautiful.

Bri and Andrew tied the knot at the Anderson Arts Center a few weeks ago, and it truly was unforgettable. Before we get into the reception details, let’s rewind a little bit.

Bri and her bridesmaids got ready in a downtown loft, fully equipped with mimosas, Starbucks coffee, and breakfast sweet treats. We entered the room through clouds of hairspray and flowery perfume, while laughter and discussions of Darius Rucker filled the air.

Once hair and makeup was finished, Bri retreated to her suite to put her wedding dress on while her bridesmaids anxiously waited for the reveal. Bri shared with us the backstory to her wedding dress with us, and it truly was a brush with fate.

After hours of trying on dress after dress, Bri was feeling frustrated and doubtful that she would find the perfect dress. A woman working the floor overheard Bri’s wishes and designs for her ideal dress, and a lightbulb went off. Without breathing a word at first, this woman ran to the back and opened up a brand new box that had just been delivered to the boutique earlier that morning. This dress had not even seen a hanger yet, but the woman confidently brought it over to Bri with a smile on her face and said “try this one”. It fit Bri like a glove, and that was the dress for her.

Along with the bridesmaids, we were blown away by how beautiful Bri looked when she came out in her dress. The best part of the dress? It had pockets. AMAZING!

We met up with Andrew and his groomsmen at the Anderson Arts Center where the ceremony and reception would take place.

Situated in a room flooded with natural light and antique mirrors, the guys were watching football and slipping into their suit jackets. It was truly a team effort to properly fold the pocket handkerchiefs, but luckily it ended in successful triangles for everyone.

After completing the groomsmen photos and portraits of Andrew, we were able to explore the arts center and photograph the ceremony and reception space. The walls were covered with the work of local artists. Photographs, paintings, sculptures – there was a little bit of everything and it was truly stunning. Outside the entryway stood a groovin’ saxophonist welcoming guests with raw, natural talent.

A temperature check welcomed guests, along with a basket of face masks and mini hand sanitizer bottles. The ceremony and reception were incredible, and there was no masking Bri and Andrew’s excitement over finally being husband and wife.

We wish them nothing but a long life filled with love and happiness, congratulations Bri and Andrew! Thank you for trusting us to document your special day. Scroll below to check out just a small preview of the beautiful day.
