Taifha + James | Wedding at the Gassaway Mansion in Greenville SC

Taifha and James had one of the most unique weddings I think I’ve ever attended. Their ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful and stately Gassaway Mansion in Greenville and it was a celebration to remember!

Taifha and James met in 2014 at the Vanderbilt Law Schools admitted student day in Nashville. Taifha is from New York and I had a great time getting to know her entire family who flew in from out of town. They’re incredibly warm and loving people who were excited to celebrate the most important day in Taifha’s life. With Jamaican roots – the music all night was a constant pull to the dance floor and everyone enjoyed the never-ending thump of the bass and great music!

James was one of the best dressed grooms I’ve had in front of the lens (I even asked to buy his jacket and I have a bid in for his shoes). He was so easy going with a big smile all day long… you could just tell he was having the best day of his life.

A wedding at the Gassaway Mansion is always a treat – each part of the venue looks like it has it’s own story to tell. On Saturday the historic mansion shared its grandeur and became part of Taifha and James’ own story. Congratulations you two! I’m so excited for you!
