I was super excited when Lindsey, Jason and I met at Spill the Beans in Greenville. Once we started digging into their wedding day I found out they will be getting married at Pretty Place (an amazing venue in the SC mountains) and they were having their reception at Flour Field. I thought that was already really unique – until I found out the Greenville Drive will be playing during the reception too. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?
Their wedding day turned out beautifully! Although it was warm – you could hardly tell it from their expressions. Neither one seemed to have a care in the world during the ceremony… they were totally in a world to themselves. It was such a romantic story to document.
Right after we left and stopped by Bald Rock for some cool wedding party shots – what a view! It wasn’t long before we were back on the road and headed down the mountain to Flour Field in Downtown Greenville. The reception was an amazing experience! The awesome people at Flour Field really went out of their way to make the couple feel at home in the new reception venue and it was easy to see how much fun the wedding guests were having stepping out on the balcony to watch a little of the game (that night was the Drive vs. the River Dogs from Charleston). To top it off – as a surprise gift to Lindsey – Jason had set up an awesome slideshow showcasing some of the best moments in their life together so far on the Flour Field Jumbotron! It was the perfect way to finish out the night.
This wedding had breath taking mountain views, an exciting baseball game, great music, fun dancing, good drinks, and delicious food – everything needed to make it a once-in-a-lifetime memorable event. Congratulations Lindsey and Jason! I’m thrilled to see you both start your life together!
